Mad Cow Theatre in Downtown Orlando

In 1997, a group of actors and directors agreed to have a two show production for local audiences.

From that humble enterprise, Mad Cow Theatre was born and eighteen years later, a major phenomenon has taken over Orlando.

This revered professional theatre company has produced and performed hundreds of plays for a broad range of audiences.

For their extraordinary work, Mad Cow Theatre has received an Arts Innovator of the Year Award from United Arts, two Golden Brick Awards for outstanding contribution to downtown culture, and named Best Theatre by Orlando Magazine more than once.

Plays

The plays presented at the theatre are solid works by unparalleled playwrights: The Cherry Orchard by Chekhov, The Glass Menagerie by Williams and Glengarry Glen Ross by Mamet to name a few.

As Season 18 winds down at the end of the summer you will only be waiting for a short period of time before you are faced with a tough decision; which plays to plan for during Season 19.

Mad Cow Theatre proudly produces the Orlando Cabaret Festival, as well.

This annual three-week festival, with both lunchtime and evening shows, showcases outstanding local talent in song, dance and music.
