Coming to Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts for only 8 performances April 21-25, is the much beloved show and winner of the 2012 Tony for Best Musical Revival Pippin.

Pippin is the story of a young prince that must decide whether to see beyond the circus like atmosphere and antics surrounding his royal birthright or to give into it and be a part of the show.

Live Wire Adventures

The high-flying contortions and high-wire trickeries perfectly accentuate and bring to life the dilemma that is the heart of Pippin.

A story that has been told for ages, it was first brought to Broadway over forty years ago and while each successive version has undergone a modernization this version is by far the most ‘acrobatic’.

Bringing forth a multitude of heart-pounding live-wire adventures that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire show!

The ensemble behind Pippin includes: the season 6 winner of The Voice Josh Kaufman, Tony nominated John Dosset of numerous plays, musicals, and television and film productions including Newsies, Gypsies, Law and Order and The Good Wife, Carly Hughes whose resume includes The Book of Mormon and Ghost, and Charlotte D’Amboise whose multiple credits include nominated performances in A Chorus Line and Jerome Robbins Broadway.

A book by Emmy nominated Roger O. Hirson it includes music by Steven Schwartz who brought us music in 6 major Broadway shows including Wicked, Godspell and a plethora of film, television, and animated works; choreography and direction by highly acclaimed award winning individuals, and adrenaline packed acrobatics performed by Les 7 Doigts de la main.

With such a talented cast and crew working to bring Pippin to life it is easy to understand why this show has been a multi-tiered success of a powerhouse for so long; and, why this is the best version yet!
