Enjoy A Winter Wonderland in Kissimmee

It’s hard to fathom that it would snow in Central Florida, but it does in fact happen every year.

From late November through the entire month of December the Celebration Town Center, just south of Walt Disney World Resort, becomes a proverbial winter wonderland.

There is no need to check the weather forecast for cool temperatures because it snows here daily.

Let is Snow

The town of Celebration has made a tradition of celebrating the holiday season.

The Annual Now Snowing event kicks off with tree lighting just after Thanksgiving.

The tree lighting event usually features live music, a special appearance by Santa Claus himself and family fun for everyone.

The festive month long ‘Now Snowing’ event transports you to a place filled with wintertime favorites.

Ice Skating Rink

There is an ice-skating rink, Charles Dickens Carolers singing timeless tunes, horse drawn carriage rides, appearances by Santa Claus and nightly snowfall at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM.

You must visit Santa prior to Christmas Day due to his busy schedule delivering gifts to children around the world the next day.

The ice rink is open daily from 4:00-10:00 pm.

Celebration resident passes are available as well as multi-day skate passes for guests.

Countdown to Christmas Concert

Special concerts take place through the month as well. In the past the Countdown to Christmas Concert, Orlando Sentinel Celebration of Voices and Radio Disney Holiday concert have taken place at Now Snowing.

Admission and parking to Now Snowing Nightly is FREE.

Celebration is located between Highway 192 and interstate 4 near Walt Disney World.
