Arrive Early to Avoid Long Lines

Getting to a Disney park early can make a huge difference to your day, especially if you’re visiting Walt Disney World during peak season.

Crowd levels from rope drop until about 10:30 AM are the lowest they’ll be all day and so if there’s a popular attraction that you have your heart set on seeing, early morning may be the best time to hop aboard.

So, you decide that it’s worth getting up early to be at the park at rope drop… which rides should you focus on?

The decision, of course, is up to you, but it is wise to use this precious morning time on attractions you know will draw long queues later in the day and rides that you want to see, but aren’t willing to queue for.

After all, It’s a Small World should not be missed, but no one really wants to stand in line for 120 minutes, do they?

Most Enjoyable Early Bird Rides

Some attractions are also far more enjoyable in the morning, such as Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom.

Morning is when the animals have just been fed, so they’ll be at their most active.

Later in the day, once the Florida sun is blazing high in the sky, the animals will be taking shelter from the heat, so you’ll be less likely to get good views of them.

This attraction offers very different experiences depending on the time of day you choose to visit.

Best Attractions to hit Before 10 AM are

Magic Kingdom

Epcot

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Animal Kingdom
