Best Disney World Sandwiches

In many ways, the sandwich is the perfect Disney entrée.

It’s hearty, often inexpensive and healthier than hotdogs and turkey legs, and downright delicious.

However, like any other Walt Disney World dish, sandwiches can be pretty hit or miss, so it’s always helpful to know just what you’ll be getting for your money.

Here are a selection of some of Disney guest’s favorite sandwiches from around Walt Disney World, each and every one of them a perfect choice for a delicious lunch or light dinner

Any Sandwich at The Earl of Sandwich

This one may seem like a bit of a cheat to start with, but as the most popular sandwich spot in Walt Disney World, there is nothing the Earl of Sandwich puts out that isn’t met with cries of “Yum!”.

Don’t be scared off by the long lines.

They move quickly and the Earl’s hot signature sandwiches are worth the wait1

Fan favorites include The Original 1762 (roast beef, cheddar, and creamy horseradish sauce), The Best BLT, The Holiday Turkey (turkey, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry), The All American (turkey, cheddar, cranberries, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing), and The Full Montagu (roast beef, turkey, Swiss, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and mustard).

Barbecue Pork Sandwich at Animal Kingdom’s Flame Tree Barbecue

Tender, moist, and served with coleslaw, the pork sandwich at Animal Kingdom’s colorful Flame Tree Barbecue is an incredible alternative to your standard theme park burgers.

The Lighthouse Sandwich at Magic Kingdom’s Columbia Harbour House

Made with hummus, tomato, and broccoli slaw on whole grain bread, the Lighthouse Sandwich at Columbia Harbour House is a delicious and healthy option for those enjoying a day at Magic Kingdom. The sandwich is served with your choice of either potato chips or apple slices.

Waffle Sandwiches at Magic Kingdom’s Sleepy Hollow

Serving up both sweet and savoury waffle sandwiches, this little spot tucked away beside Cinderella’s Castle is the perfect place for a light breakfast or lunch.

Their Nutella and fresh fruit waffle sandwiches make a decadent and unforgettable breakfast (that’s big enough to share), while their sweet and spicy chicken or ham, prosciutto, and Swiss lunch waffles make a tasty and different alternative to standard theme park fare.

The Grown-Up Grilled Cheese at the Polynesian Resort’s Captain Cook’s

This is not your standard grilled cheese.

Made with melted cheddar, Swiss, and Boursin cheeses, lettuce, and tomato, all sandwiched between multigrain-sunflower bread, this sammie is one for the grown ups or adventurous little eaters.

Croissant Jambon Fromage and other sandwiches at Epcot’s Boulangerie Patisserie

Stop by Epcot’s France Pavilion for a light, but filling lunch or snack at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie.

Serving sandwiches, soups, salads, and delectable desserts, this has become a popular spot for a tasty and very inexpensive lunch while touring the World Showcase.

The most popular sandwich they have to offer is their ham and cheese croissant, a rich, buttery confection made with ham, cheese, and béchamel and served on a freshly toasted croissant. For only $4.75, this sandwich is a steal!
