Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant

A trip to Disney World is not complete without viewing the Electrical Water Pageant.

Similar to the Main Street Electrical Parade, this lively event is a long-standing favorite among millions of people who go to Disney each year and it is easy to see why.

The Electrical Water Pageant consists of seven barges that carry 25-foot tall screens that display beautifully colored lights in the shape of various characters.

As the displays make their way through the lake, the lights proceed to flicker on and off to make them appear as if they are moving effortlessly through the water.

See Unique Characters

This intricate pageant of lights bodes captivating visuals of underwater characters.

Guests will be amazed when they see four seahorses making their way down to the tunes of “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid and an opulent crocodile sneaking through the lake to “Never Smile at a Crocodile” from Peter Pan.

Other characters include a turtle, whale, octopus, and many others such as an outstanding sea serpent, which takes up a whopping four floats!

Patriotic Conclusion

Get ready to wave your flags in the air, because the pageant concludes with a final tribute to America with bright and shining visuals of flags and stars and music from “Yankee Doodle,” “God Bless America” and “Grand Old Flag.”

The show has changed little since its debut in October 1971 but has become much more advanced as the years have passed.

This pageant lasts about ten minutes and takes place on Disney’s Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.

Fun, quirky and an absolute must-see for the evening, The Electrical Water Pageant is a wonderful way to cap-off your family's day at Disney World.

Nothing is quite as relaxing as kicking back to the stunning lights for some free entertainment while dodging the overwhelming crowds at the parks.
