Free Campfire At Disney

Nowadays the typical character brunch or dinner at Disney can costs guests around $30 for just a single adult.

What they are really paying for is the convenience of those characters coming to see their family without the hassle of waiting in a long grueling line under the sun.

Yet, tucked back away in the Fort Wilderness Campground is the Chip and Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, which takes place every night, and it is free of charge!

The timing of this event varies by the season but during the colder months it typically gets started around 7:00 pm but an hour later in the summer, which gives the temperature a little more time to cool off, making the campfire much more enjoyable.

Chuck Wagon

The fun of this free campfire at Disney begins when the Chuck Wagon opens up and serves up all kinds of delicious treats.

Guests can then proceed to gather around the outdoor theater while embraced by the beauty of the nighttime stars.

The true delight comes from the two open fire pits, which rest right at the front of the theater.

A good ol’ cowboy will come around to light the fire and then proceed to take the stage to lead the audience in some songs - Disney style, of course.

To enjoy some gooey goodness, otherwise known as s’mores, guests can bring their own marshmallows and sticks, or they purchase a s’mores kit from the snack bar.

Meet Chip and Dale

It won’t be long until Chip and Dale are introduced.

These friendly chipmunks will greet all of the families by the fire to sign autographs, take photos and crack a joke or two.

This will last roughly 20 minutes, but the fire will continue to roar for a source of warmth and entertainment.

The smiles and laughs are infinite at the free campfires at Disney.

There is also a free movie after the sing along.
