Jungle Cruise Goes “Jingle Cruise”

Beginning in early November, the Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom will receive its holiday makeover!

The Jungle Cruise will be temporarily be going “Jingle Cruise” this holiday season with several new holiday additions to the famous Adventureland attraction.

The storyline for the updated attraction goes “Skippers have grown homesick for the holidays, so they’ve added holiday cheer to the Jungle Cruise queue and boathouse with decorations that have been mailed to them from home (plus a few they’ve created themselves).”

Jungle Cruise’s Boats

Guests of the attraction will also be able to feel some of this holiday cheer aboard the Jungle Cruise’s boats, which have been given new, holiday-themed names and will feature some holiday music over their radio broadcast (the first time the audio spiel has changed since the attraction’s opening in 1971).

The skipper have also added some new, holiday-themed jokes to their repertoire, so if you’re visiting this holiday season, be sure to listen for those!

The seasonal makeover is not expected to interrupt Jungle Cruise service, or to be fully immersive, as that would have required a prolonged closure of the attraction.

Disney Parks are, of course, known for their extensive holiday décor, including full attraction makeovers.

With A Small World and The Haunted Mansion given full seasonal renovations in Disneyland, California, fans of the Florida parks are hoping the Jingle Cruise may mark the beginning of more holiday-themed attraction makeovers in Orlando!

The Jingle Cruise is set to begin in early November and will last through the holiday season at Walt Disney World.
