in the Walt Disney World area. Our Orlando hot air balloon rides are available 7 days a week. Kids age 9 and under fly free with each paying adult.
Our program begins
at 6 am with a pre-flight briefing,
We then board our vehicles and
head off to one of our 25 launch sites (Depending on the wind direction).
All passengers are invited to join in the inflation process
as your balloon comes to life. We will fly for one hour.
Your Pilot
will point out all the spectacular sites of our area. After your
flight we will celebrate with the traditional Champagne toast and
head back for an all you can eat breakfast buffet. At breakfast,
each passenger will be awarded a first flight certificate. Reserve

Orlando Hot Air Balloon Ride Review:

I first arrived in a huge grassy
open field. It was here that I was able to watch them inflate
the balloon that I was about to ride. It was quite a sight
to gaze upon something that looked so small when it came out
of the van, into something gigantic. Watching the balloon
inflate was really interesting. I could feel the fire used
to heat the air inside the balloon. It also gave me a better
understanding of how these things actually work and are able
to fly.
I boarded the basket, said goodbye to those left on the ground,
and up we rose. The sight was breathtaking. The tour is scheduled
for the sunrise. What a sunrise it was. I had never seen the
sunrise from an aerial perspective. I enjoyed it very much.
The pilot had been hot air ballooning since he was 17 years
old. Experience he has, the ride was smooth and uneventful
in the means of accidents. He informed us about hot air balloons
and his experience with them. We were able to see for miles!
The higher we rose in the air, the quieter it became. It was
like we were in our own little world where only the birds
fly.
Florida is a state with many lakes. I got to see some of
them. However, what I enjoyed the most about seeing these
lakes, was when the hot air balloon when over one at a semi-low
level. I took my camera out and captured the moment. There
was a reflection of the hot air balloon over the water. I
could see myself when I looked over the basket in the water,
very neat. It put into perspective just how big the balloon
is. I was told that the circle on the top of the balloon was
big enough for a 3 car garage. However, I looked up and it
sure did not look that big.
We all helped in putting the balloon away. It was at this
time when I looked at the black circle at the top of the balloon
and realized just how big it really was. Then, we all gathered
for a champagne toast. This is significant with the history
of hot air ballooning. I am just glad that we did not need
to champagne for the reason they did when first making the
hot air balloon. We finished the trip with a buffet breakfast,
which was nice since I had been up since 4a.m.
Word to the wise, bring a camera and get sleep the night
before. This will help ensure that you are ready to get up
early and go hot air ballooning. It's a great way to view
Florida from different perspective. It really is a peacefully
smooth ride to
enjoy.

Q, Where do we meet?
A, At the Best Western Lakeside. The Best Western is located on
HWY. 192, Exactly 5 Traffic lights west of the main Entrance to
Disney World. The Best Western is on the Right and we meet in the
restaurant.
Q, WHEN DO YOU FLY?
A, AT SUNRISE 7 DAYS A WEEK (WEATHER PERMITTING)
Q, DO YOU FLY AT ANY OTHER TIME?
A, NO, SUNRISE IS THE ONLY TIME OF DAY THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL
ALLOW US TO FLY HERE IN FLORIDA.
Q, HOW OFTEN DO YOU HAVE TO CANCEL A FLIGHT?
A, WE FLY BETWEEN 250 AND 275 FLIGHTS A YEAR. THIS AVERAGES ABOUT
5 FLIGHTS PER WEEK. Even with this average we still must cancel
flights occasionally do to inclement weather. Choose a day early
in your trip so as to have backup days available just in case.
Q. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GO IN A BALLOON
A, WE HAVE FOUR BALLOONS, ONE CARRIES 4 PASSENGERS, ONE CARRIES
6 PASSENGERS AND TWO BALLOONS THAT WILL CARRY UP TO 9 PASSENGERS.
What size balloon or how many balloons we take depends on how many
people are scheduled that day.
Q. WILL WE FLY OVER DISNEY?
A. WE TRY AS OFTEN AS WE CAN TO GO OVER THE PARKS, MANY TIMES WE
DO!! THE ACTUAL FLIGHT PATH IS DETERMINED BY THE WIND. WE DON'T
ALWAYS GO OVER DISNEY BUT YOU CAN SEE THE PARKS FROM MOST OF OUR
FLIGHTS.
Q. WHAT TIME DO WE MEET & WHEN WILL WE BE DONE?
A, THE ENTIRE PROGRAM TAKES 3 TO 4 HOURS, WE MEET AT 6 AM AND YOU
ARE DONE AROUND 9:30. ABOUT WHEN ALL THE THEME PARKS OPEN.
Q. CAN WE BRING CAMERA'S AND VIDEO GEAR?
A. YES.... ALSO BRING TWICE THE FILM YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED.
Q. WILL WE BE COLD UP THERE?
A. NO... THERE IS A REASON WE CALL THEM HOT AIR BALLOONS.. YOU WILL
BE 6 TO 8 DEGREES WARMER IN THE BALLOON. We also recommend you wear
comfortable shoes, we will be walking around in cow pastures and
hay fields.
Q. DO I NEED RESERVATIONS?
A. YES... WE RECOMMEND YOU SCHEDULE YOUR FLIGHT ABOUT A WEEK IN
ADVANCE. however, if you need a flight the next morning do not hesitate
to call. many times we can get you in on short notice.
Q. HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

WHAT DAY, WHERE YOU ARE STAYING, AND A CREDIT CARD TO RESERVE YOUR
SPOTS. OR GO TO OUR FLIGHT RESERVATION PAGE AND FILL OUT OUR ONLINE
BOOKING FORM.
Q. IS IT SAFE?
A. YES! WE FLY 250 TO 275 FLIGHTS A YEAR, WITH 4 TO 30 PASSENGERS
ON EACH DAY, FOR OVER 18 YEARS, AND OUR SAFETY RECORD IS STILL SPOTLESS...
YES IT IS SAFE AND WE DON'T TAKE CHANCES... "TAKE OFF'S ARE
OPTIONAL....... LANDINGS ARE MANDATORY"
Q. WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
A. All of our passengers are asked to call the night before the
flight to check the weather forecast for the next mornings flight.
We ask that the passengers call 407-415-7283 between 5pm and 7pm
the night before and one of our Pilots will be on duty. Most of
the time we know the night before your flight, However, there are
days when we will call a flight a go and have to cancel at the launch
site. We hate disappointing passengers but we refuse to hurt anyone.
Q. How much does it Cost?
A. Our pricing is as follows. $175 Per Adult. $95 Jr. Adult (children
from 10 to 15yrs) and currently children 9 and under are free with
a full paying adult. Only one child per adult. Additional children
will be charged at the Jr. Adult price. For Example 2 Adults with
1 Jr. Adult and 3 Children would be (2@ $175) (2@ $95) and (2 free)
