Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk Free Entertainment Zone

Step back to 1920s at Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk, a resort and entertainment/shopping complex on the shores of Crescent Lake.

The Boardwalk is themed after turn-of-the-century boardwalk playgrounds (Coney Island, Atlantic City, etc) and offers dining, shopping, dancing, live entertainment, and classic carnival games.

So, what’s at the Boardwalk?

Entertainment

Atlantic Dance – Dance club open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 PM to 2 AM

Boardwalk Buskers – Live entertainers stroll the Boardwalk five nights a week, including sword swallowers, jugglers, magicians, and musicians.

Midway Games – Traditional carnival games of chance with stuffed animals and prizes

Surrey Bike Rental – rent a fringed Surrey bike and pedal your way down the Boardwalk and around Crescent Lake. Rentals are available until 10:30 PM every night.

The Yard Arcade – Arcade with the latest sport-themed video games located next to the ESPN Club

Belle Vue Room - Comfortable lounge serving continental breakfast.

BoardWalk Bakery – Coffee and delicious pastries

Seashore Sweets – Old-fashioned sweet shop serving ice cream, fudge, and saltwater taffy

Pin Station – Shop for Walt Disney World’s exclusive, collectible pins

Screen Door General Store – Snacks, beverages, souvenirs, stationary, and home decor

The Yard – ESPN merchandise located next to the ESPN Club

Thimbles and Threads – Ladies, children, and infant apparel plus toys and accessories

Wyland Galleries – Gallery of marine life by internationally renowned painter Wyland

Disney’s Boardwalk can easily be reached by car, taxi, or by one of Disney’s buses or water taxis .

The Boardwalk complex is within walking distance of Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios, as well as Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf.
