Jungle Navigation Co. Restaurant in Adventureland

Finding a great place to eat during your time at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is going to get even better this year.

A new concept restaurant called Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen will be opening up in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland.

It will be located in the space that once housed Adventureland Veranda.

Now you have a place to enjoy a quick bit after your Jungle Cruise.

Welcome to the Jungle

The restaurant will be set up with several unique dining rooms to enjoy a tasty meal.

Some dining spaces include a crew mess hall and a once hidden top-secret meeting room of the famous Society of Explorers and Adventurers.

There are sure to be some great artifacts throughout the establishment so take a look around.

The cast members working in this restaurant are Jungle Cruise Skippers and they are there to serve up their own distinct style of humor with each meal.

Lunch and dinner will be served and the food will include a global fusion.

You can expect to see, smell and taste flavors from Africa, Asia and South America.

The Menu

There is a bit of humor tied into the menu as well.

You will come across things like Fricasse (sic) of Giant Stag Beetle, Fillet of Rock Python and Barbecued Three-Toed Skink.

Don’t fret; most of the items will have the actual type of meat listed on the menu as well.

All of the previously listed items are sourced from chicken, for example.

It has been speculated that a limited alcohol menu will be made available.

This has not been confirmed at this time.

The restaurant has been under construction for several months and the doors will be open soon.

Please check back for more information on hours of operation and other information.
