A favorite past time of many visitors to Walt Disney World is the chance to shop for anything Disney.

Disney World has made it very easy and interesting for guests to browse in all of the different shops in the parks, as many of them are themed and have fascinating displays, like Sleeping Beauty’s pink and blue dress in Castle Couture in the Magic Kingdom.

When shopping at Disney World, especially with your family, it is a good idea to make a budget for each family member – and stick to it.

Because of all of the eye-popping merchandise, it is very easy to get carried away, even on just the first day of vacation.

Don’t worry though, there are plenty of opportunities for shopping, and gifts appropriate for all ages.

When browsing a store, it is a good idea to ask a sales clerk if there is a clearance section.

Many times there is, and it may be tucked out of sight on a bottom shelf or the back of a display.

Walt Disney World offers two space and time-saving services for its guest shoppers.

For guests staying on Disney property, there is the package delivery option where the stores deliver the merchandise right to your room, so there are no lugging unwieldy bags around the parks or worrying about them while you are on a ride.

Another way to avoid carrying your packages is to opt for Package Pick-Up, which is a designated spot in each park where you can find your shopping bags when you are ready to leave.

Many of the parks have merchandise exclusive to each park, so be sure to ask the sales clerks if there are any special buys or not-to-miss items.

If you leave the parks and just can’t stop thinking about that one thing that you didn’t get, don’t worry.

You can utilize the merchandise mail-order service where a friendly attendant will have the item delivered to you at home.
