Duplo Village Area of Legoland Florida

Duplo Village, long the favorite spot for the younger fans of Lego bricks, is getting a makeover and will re-open in the Spring of 2014, completely updated and ready to entertain kids, most appropriately between the ages of two and five.

Duplo bricks are bigger versions of Legos, and are easier for younger children to grip and lock together.

Also, the Duplo Brick themes are city, farm, and story-based, making it easy for younger kids to relate to the themes described with the building sets.

Duplo Valley Farm Theme

In Duplo Valley, the always-favorite farm characters of the Duplo theme will come to life.

The area relates well with the Fresh From Florida Greenhouse by the entrance to LEGOLAND.

The Duplo barn will stay in its current location, and be re-purposed as an enclosed, air-conditioned building area for Duplos.

It will also feature seating for families and other activities.

Outside of the barn, the farm theme will carry over into a new splash zone, where Duplo farm animals are the main attraction.

The younger kids don’t get left off of the rides - get ready and gear up for an interactive tractor ride where a farmer needs help planting his crops and finding lost animals.

Duplo Train

Rounding out the new additions is a scaled-down Duplo train that takes riders through farm scenery and landscapes.

Currently, the Duplo Barn is still open and houses a Baby Care Center, with a nursing room, changing area and other amenities for families with babies.

Duplo Valley will take over the location of Duplo Village, which is surrounded by Fun Town, Lego Kingdoms, and World of Chima.
