It’s hard to miss the Lone Palm Tiki Bar when making your way down Universal CityWalk.
Along with being right across the street from Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, it is marked by a 1960 Albatross Airplane.
The plane, known as the Hemisphere Dancer, once belonged to the U.S. Navy.
Years after it was retired, Buffet purchased the plane, restored it, and made the Lone Palm Tiki Bar its home.
Lone Palm takes advantage of Central Florida’s warm weather and is an outdoor Tiki Bar with stunning views of the CityWalk Lagoon.
The bar itself is covered by a thatched roof and served everything from traditional cocktails, wine and beer; to Margaritaville signature margaritas and other chilled alcoholic beverages.
Visitors can sit at the bar and watch one of the many flat screen TVs, or choose to sit in the adjacent dining area that overlooks the CityWalk Lagoon.
In addition to a wide variety of adult beverages, the Lone Palm offers a good selection of appetizers and finger foods.
Sample menu items include quesadillas, chicken wings, peel-and-eat shrimp, and hot dogs.
The star of the menu is the Volcano Nachos, which are topped with chili, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes and jalapeño peppers.
Most dishes come in at under $15.
Happy hour at Lone Palm runs from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
Signature margaritas are just $4.00 and select beers are just $2.50.
The bar is open daily from 11:00am to 2:00am.
