Visit Asia at Disney's Animal Kingdom and find yourself transported to the beautiful, mythical Kingdom of Anandapur.

Stroll through the crumbling ruins of Anandapur's village, temples, and palaces, enjoying the magnificent architecture and peacefully fluttering prayer flags, and take in a show at Flights of Wonder, a fun, but informative exhibit that will introduce you to some very exotic feathered friends.

Better yet, take a self-guided walking tour on the Maharajah Jungle Trek and come face-to-face with gibbons, Komodo dragons, giant fruit bats (there is a bypass if you don't wish to see the bats), and tigers.

Next, board a train and race through the Forbidden Mountain on Expedition Everest, a high-speed roller coaster that will send you hurtling through icy caverns, bamboo forests, and mountain caverns.

Keep your eyes open and you might spot the fearsome Yeti, who has done his best to tear the tracks apart!

Cool off at Kali River Rapids, a white water rafting experience down the turbulent waters of the Charanadi River.

Be warned – you will get wet!

For a bite to eat after all this excitement, drop into the Anandapur Yak & Yeti Restaurant and enjoy pan-Asian cuisine in a visually stunning atmosphere.

If you're in the mood for a less formal sit-down meal, Yak & Yeti also offers an outdoor counter-service restaurant serving Chinese takeout with cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets for any fussy eaters.

Take your time as you make your way through Asia.

With it's architecture, lush foliage, and intricately detailing, it is one of the most beautiful sections of the park.

Tip: Kali River Rapids is a great way to beat the Floridian heat in the sweltering summer months, but know you will get soaked to the skin on this ride.

Wearing a poncho may help, but if you really don't want to get wet, save this one for the end of the day or immediately go on Expedition Everest, which may help you dry off.
