During the fall of 2013, Disney stormed onto the tasty food truck scene to provide guests with a fun and delicious meal experience.
After all, a highlight of any Disney vacation is all of the delicious and mouthwatering treats you get to indulge in between rides, shows and magical photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite characters.
There were four food trucks placed strategically throughout Downtown Disney at random times throughout the season.
Each was themed to portray the essence of a particular Disney Park.
Here’s a little info on the four food-filled trucks:
“Enchanted Fare” will serve guests delightful menu items from Disney’s Magic Kingdoms all over the world, including hand-dipped corn dogs!
“Namaste Cafe” plans to feature an exotic mix of treats from the Animal Kingdom Park as well as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge such as Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs and Tandori Spiced Shrimp, all severed with a spice of Naan Bread!
“The World Showcase of Flavors” will feature goodies from the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
“Superstar Catering” is set to bring eats from Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The items will shine the spotlight on high-class meals such as the Lamb Meatball Flatbread.
Each and every truck had guests lined up in anticipation for all of the yummy eats.
The delicious success has lead to the trucks finding a permanent home in Downtown Disney!
This special area is set to be called “Food Truck Row” and will debut in summer 2014.
The final spot for “Food Truck Row” has not been determined but it is suspected to be somewhere in the area near the House of Blues and Cirque de Soleil.
Guests from all over the world are thrilled to hear about the Food Truck Park coming to Downtown Disney and can’t wait to feast on all of the savory meals and snacks!
