Patagonia Marketplace Combine the Cuisines of Argentina and Chile

Just as the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is wrapping up, Disney has announced some exciting details for this year’s upcoming Epcot Food and Wine Festival!

One of the biggest changes this year is the addition of a brand new food market!

The Patagonia Marketplace will combine the cuisines of Argentina and Chile, including sustainable, roasted Verlasso salmon, quinoa salad, and arugula chimichurri.

New Farm Fresh Market

Additionally, a new Farm Fresh Market whose menu includes a “Bacon and Eggs” dish with applewood-smoked bacon, sweet corn, potatoes, Hollandaise, and pickled jalapeños will replace The Florida Local Market.

The Brazil Marketplace will also be adding a new dish to their menu - Mocequa de Pescado, a fresh tilapia dish featuring coconut lime sauce and steamed rice.

New Events

New events added to the festival line up this year includes a dinner showcasing Walt Disney’s own culinary preferences, the back-by-demand Parisian Breakfast on Saturdays, and the interactive “Boot Camp Series” to help burgeoning young chefs hone their craft!

Celebrity Chefs

Celebrity chefs at the festival this year include Warren Brown, Rock Harper, Jennifer Hill Booker, Erika Davis, Paula DaSilva, Gale Gand, Dana Herbert, Jamie Deen, Jerome Brown, Dean Max, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, Allen Susser, Duskie Estes, and John Stewart.

Most exciting of all, however, is that the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival is to be the longest event in the festival’s 19-year history. Beginning on September 19th, 2014 and ending on November 10th, the 2014 festival will last a total of 53 days – 7 more than last year!

The festival will be featuring more than 25 food markets, so expect to see the return of most of your international favorites when the festival begins this autumn.
