LEGOLAND Florida

LEGOLAND® Florida is situated on 150 acres previously occupied by Cypress Gardens, (historical gardens will stay intact), this large, elaborate theme park boasts more than 50 rides based on different themes among 100's of lego structures ranging from iconic personalities, landmark buildings and other famous objects that are of special interest to visitors young and old.

There are many interactive activities as well for the family to enjoy like driving school, boating school and flight school.

There is everything from rides, retail stores, restaurants, theater, replicas of major US cities, themed scenarios and more!

In terms of themed scenarios there are pirates, knights/castles, explorers, a town that children and adults can live out their dreams in.

For botanists and people that remember Cypress Gardens, much of it has been preserved and is now part of the Legoland park.

Attractions Rides & Themed Zones

The family theme park offers interactive attractions, family rides, shows, restaurants, shopping and beautiful landscape specifically geared for families with children ages 2 to12.

The Beginning

The Island in the Sky will give you a 360° aerial view of LEGOLAND Florida on a rotating 150-foot rotating platform ride.

The Big Shop is one of the largest LEGO retail stores in the world where you will find a huge selection of LEGO and LEGOLAND merchandise.

Find freshly baked pastries, espresso, milk, juice, fruit and yogurt, as well as freshly prepared, healthy family meals served throughout the day at the The Market Restaurant.

Fun Town is a LEGO village where you can take the Factory Tour and see how LEGO bricks are made from factory to finish.

Wander off to the Grand Carousel.

This is two-story carousel is filled with fanciful, LEGO-themed horses.

Over at the Fun Town Theater you'll be able to relax and enjoy three different 4-D movies in the 700-seat theater that shows throughout the day.

Pick up LEGO-licensed products (Clutch Powers, SpongeBob , Indiana Jones , Star Wars and Batman ) at The Studio Store.

At the Minifigure Market kids can create custom mini-fig.

Try the park's signature dessert of crisp Granny Smith apples, cinnamon, sugar and sweet vanilla cream sauce at Granny's Apple Fries.

Fun Town Pizza Pasta Buffet serves up a delicious variety of meals.

Miniland USA

Miniland USA is made up of eight specially themed areas:

At Florida you'll view the entire state from Key West's Mallory Square in to Bok Tower in nearby Lake Wales and the antebellum mansions in the northwest area known as the Panhandle.

Miniland Florida has expanded areas of Kennedy Space Center and the Daytona International Speedway® which is an interactive racing experience where guests can race LEGO brick cars.

The Strip" features all the Las Vegas marquee casinos including the Luxor Las Vegas, New York, New York Hotel and Casino, Excalibur, Mirage, Treasure Island, Tropicana, MGM Grand, Venetian, Stratosphere tower and two iconic structures of Paris Las Vegas: the balloon sign and Eiffel Tower.

There is also a miniature wedding chapel, monorails and real-life sounds recorded in Las Vegas.

Washington, D.C. re-creations include the White House, the U.S. Capitol building, Smithsonian, Washington and Jefferson monuments and parts of Georgetown.

Don't miss the animated marching band parades in front of the Capitol and tiny cherry trees blossom every spring.

At New York City (The Big Apple) you can see tiny jets of water shooting up from the fountain in Rockefeller Plaza, The Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Station, The Empire State Building, the Guggenheim Museum, the Bronx Zoo and a fleet of animated yellow taxicabs navigating the streets of Times Square.

California showcases include San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street and painted row houses, as well as famous southern California icons like Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Bowl, the Hollywood sign and Madame Tussauds.

Pirates is a uniquely themed area hosting a full-on swashbuckling pirate adventure with two opposing pirate ships and their LEGO "mini-fig mates" battle it out upon the high seas.

Castle Hill

Castle Hill takes kids back in time to medieval times where kings ruled and knights, princesses and dragons were bountiful.

The Dragon is an indoor/outdoor steel roller coaster that gives a hilarious, behind-the-scenes view of life within the enchanted LEGOLAND Castle.

Kids can ride LEGO-themed horses through a number of medieval scenes at The Royal Joust.

They'll also encounter other riders in a simulated joust along the way.

At Merlin's Challenge you'll climb aboard a mysterious wooden train ride powered by the wizard's magic.

Hideaways is a multi-level tree and rope climbing adventure.

The Princess Makeover will make a little girl's dream-come-true transformation including a special photo to mark the day.

Land of Adventure

Explore for hidden tombs and hunt for treasure In Land of Adventure.

The Coastersaurus is junior wooden roller-coaster that curves and dips in and around a life-sized LEGO brick dinosaur.

Park guests can ride in the dark at the Egyptian-themed Lost Kingdom Adventure.

Fire laser blasters as you traverse through an ancient ruined temple in all-terrain roadsters.

At Pharaoh's Revenge an outdoor attraction permits children and parents to fire soft foam balls at enemies and explore the complex maze of the Pharaoh's kingdom.

Beetle Bounce - launch 15 feet up toward intricate, brightly jeweled LEGO scarab beetles perched atop two monumental obelisks.

In the Safari Trek you'll get the chance to explore the wilds of Africa with life-like LEGO animals.

XTreme

LEGO TECHNIC® Test Track Coaster is where gutsy guests will experience the power of acceleration, braking with twist and turns as they race a life-size LEGO TECHNIC vehicle along along this wild track.

Jump on the AQUAZONE® Wave Racers to zip in and out of waves as dodge water blasters on your very own LEGO jet skis.

The Technicycle is a zany pedal-powered spinning machine that shoot riders into the air.

LEGO City

LEGO City is where kids can live out their dreams in a scaled-down town created just for them.

At the LEGO City Rescue Academy families compete with one another in fire and police vehicles racing to be the first to put out a simulated "blaze" and save the day.

The Driving School is a "real-life" driving experience for children ages 6 through 13, where kids receive their official LEGOLAND driver's license.

The Junior Driving School is a pint-size version driving school course for children ages 3 through 5.

Kids will skipper their own mini-vessels at The Boating School.

The Flight School allows kids experience the thrill of flight in a suspended steel coaster.

Ready for The Big Test ?

This interactive show combines acrobatics, music and playful fun to teach fire safety as the zany crew of Fun Town Fire Department attempts to conquer the "Big Test" to become official firefighters.

Imagination Zone

Imagination Zone is all about exploration and creativity, while at the same time showcasing several of the most visually exciting LEGO models in the world, including a replica of Albert Einstein's head.

The Hero Factory is an immersive interactive play area based on LEGO's popular Hero Factory line.

Build & Test is where you are challenged to build a LEGO car and test it against the competition on a digitally timed track.

Get ready to build and program cutting-edge computerized robots at the LEGO MINDSTORMS .

Kid Power Towers gives kids and parents a birds eye view of the entire park and lovely Lake Eloise.

You'll hoist yourselves up to the top of a tower to get a great view, and then enjoy a fun "free-fall" to the bottom.

Imagination Zone

Pirate's Cove:

At Pirate's Cove encounter swashbuckling LEGO "mini-fig" pirates along the shores of Lake Eloise at LEGOLAND Florida's very own live-action, water-stunt show.

DUPLO® Village

DUPLO Village is ideal for toddlers where their imaginations will run wild.

Youngsters can fly a plane, drive a car or explore a whole town designed with their height in mind.

Buckle up in a semi truck and drive through the desert to deliver your cargo at Big Rig Rally.

Junior Fire Brigade is where tots become voluntary firemen and work together to extinguish "flames".

Granny's Jalopies take you on a beeping horn and a bumpy ride are sure to induce giggles from riders of all ages.

Kids can slide, climb and crawl through and around a whole host of friendly farm animals at THe DUPLO Barn .

DUPLO Playtown is where kids can pretend play at its best as little ones take over a mini town built especially for them.

Botanical Gardens

LEGOLAND Florida has taken great care to preserve the soul of the park - the historic gardens established on the grounds of its Cypress Gardens predecessor more than 75 years ago.

The setting has been restored to its pristine condition, and the collection of native plants, including azaleas and camellias, have been reclaimed and combined with a range of exotic species to create a horticultural masterpiece.

And still standing sentinel in the garden is the vast Banyan tree that was planted as a seedling in 1939.

Legoland also offers a series of special themed events throughout the year.
