Character Meet and Greet at Islands of Adventure 3 Main Areas to Meet

Character meet and greets are an often overlooked highlight at the Islands of Adventure.

They’re a great way to fully take advantage of what the park has to offer and are especially fun for kids.

Meet and greet sessions are scheduled by the park in advance, and always printed on the latest park map.

In general, sessions are divided into three main areas - the Toon Lagoon, Marvel Superhero Island, and Seuss Landing.

Toon Lagoon

The Toon Lagoon plays host to classic cartoon and comic strip characters like Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, Olive Oil, and Betty Boop.

Seuss Landing’s

Seuss Landing’s meet and greets are perfect for families with younger kids, as it’s full of popular characters from Dr. Seuss books.

The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, and Thing 2 have all been known to make appearances.

Marvel Superhero Island

Kids and kids at heart have a hard time resisting the character meet and greets at Marvel Superhero Island.

Sessions are usually held at The Marvel Arterniverse Store and feature Spiderman, Captain America, Wolverine, and many more familiar characters.

Wait Times

Even during the park’s busiest times, you probably won’t have to wait any longer than 10 minutes to interact with your favorite characters.

All the characters will be happy to take pictures with you and pose.

It’s important to keep in mind that meet and greet schedules do change with the season, and the only way to know the schedule for sure is to look for it printed on the map that is handed out at the park that day.
