Port of Entry Area of Universalís Islands of Adventure

The Port of Entry welcomes you to Universal’s Islands of Adventure with open arms.

True to its name, this entry area of the park resembles an adventurous and inventive port town.

Like many other theme parks, there are no rides located at the Port of Entry.

However, there are plenty of great and useful places to explore in this area.

Pharos Lighthouse

The first thing you’ll notice as you enter the Port of Entry is the towering Pharos Lighthouse.

This is actually a working lighthouse and you’ll be able to see its strong beam guiding visitors to the entrance once the sun goes down.

One of the more useful features of the Port of Entry area is that it lists plenty of information about the rest of the park, including approximated waiting times for major rides and attractions.

Shops and Restaurants

It’s also home to a variety of shops and restaurants.

For a great dining experience, stop by the Confisco Grille, one of only two full-service restaurants located in the park.

Like many portside restaurants, Confisco offers dishes from all around the world, including Greece, China Mexico, Italy and the United States.

Whether you’re in the mood for ribs or fajitas, you can count on Confisco Grille to satiate your hunger.

In addition to Confisco Grille, you’ll also find the Croissant Moon Bakery and a Cinnabon.

One the way out of the Islands of Adventures, stop by the Port of Entry to pick up souvenirs and mementos for friends and family.

Try the Islands of Adventure Trading Company or Ocean Trader Market for a good selection of items.
