A great place to visit in the Orlando area is the Osceola Center for the Arts in Kissimmee.
The Center’s goal “is to promote interest and participation in the arts”.
This center has something for everyone in the family, including Broadway Series plays, classes and shows for both children, and adults.
A couple of Broadway Series shows currently scheduled during the year are, Anything Goes, and Guys and Dolls.
Later in the year, there is the 2013 summer series.
There are several shows just for children scheduled, including 101 Dalmatians and Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.
The price for tickets to the Broadway Series is very reasonable, adults $21, seniors $18, and students $15.
The Children’s shows are $5 and $10.
If there is a budding actor or actress in the family, sign them up at the Center Children’s Theatre for $150.
There are several other classes for children to satisfy any special interest, including Kids and Clay or musical instruction.
Don’t miss the annual 2013 Art Festival this year.
Mark your calendar for November 16 and 17 and check out the other two art shows during the year, Osceola Student Art Show in April and a Juried Art Show in May.
This is an exciting place for creative inspiration for both children and adults.
If you live in the area, buy a membership and take advantage of discounts for Center patrons.
