Theatre Downtown Orlando Limits Performance Schedule

Since 1989, Theatre Downtown has been thrilling Orlando audiences with innovative live theatre.

With literally hundreds of plays in its long repertoire, from beloved classics to new, edgy performances, Theatre Downtown is a community staple.

Voted "Best Local Repertory Company" in past by the Orlando's Weekly Best of Orlando, this company is different from other repertories: all positions are volunteer.

Actors, directors, stage managers, etc. are volunteers making these professional quality productions a labor of love.

This is truly a magnificent gift for Orlando.

Local Talent

Theatre Downtown seeks out and spotlights up-and-coming local talent: playwrights, actors and more.

This supportive venue allows the newcomer to get their feet wet and hone their craft.

It is the place to experience a future classic.

Not all productions are by new playwrights, however.

Past performances have included The Grapes of Wrath, American Buffalo and The Tempest.

It is the focus to produce plays that are thought-provoking, stimulating and timely.
