Camping World Truck Series Race at Daytona

Every February on the Friday night before the Daytona 500, the Camping World Truck Series holds its biggest event of the season at the Daytona International Speedway.

NextEra Energy Resources 250 sponsors this race.

They have been the headline supporter of this race for over 15 years.

The 100-lap race is always one of the year’s best events at the Speedway.

It is raced under the lights at the World Center of Racing, which is quite a spectacle.

The 36 brightly colored pick-up truck running at nearly 200 MPH bumper to bumper is about as exciting as it gets.

Throw in the fact that may of the drivers are young and inexperienced, mixed in with a few old veterans and the action gets very intense.

Multi Truck Wrecks

The truck race has produced some of the most memorable races at Daytona in recent years.

There have been multi-truck wrecks with several trucks battling for the win coming to the checkered flag.

NASCARís Greatest Stars

There have been races won by unknown young drivers as well as some of NASCAR’s greatest stars, such as Mark Martin and Michael Waltrip.

There hasn't been a repeat year win since Todd Bodine won in 2008 and 2009.

A night at Daytona is a memorable night for your whole family.

The Camping World Truck Series race is one they will not soon forget.

The tickets can be had for a reasonable price where you can see the action all the way around the 2.5-mile track.

So while on your Florida vacation, be sure to get your tickets for the Truck Series 250 mile race at Daytona.
