Daytona Super Cross

Every March, during the first weekend of Bike Week at Daytona, the Daytona International Speedway hosts the stars of the Motocross world in the Daytona Super Cross by Honda.

The course of hills and mud pits is built in the grass between pit road and the tri-oval of the paved race track.

It's been said that this course is the toughest on the circuit and being that is was designed by a 5-time winner of the race, Ricky Carmichael, it would be hard to believe that he would want anything less than challenging for a race he has battled through.

The 2016 event is scheduled for March 5th.

Daylong Event

Daylong Event

The event is a daylong one one that includes multiple heat races from different sized bikes as the field is continually being whittled down to the best of the best by day’s end.

The action is fierce and dirty as these riders bottle-neck out of the starting gates into the narrow first obstacle.

The Super Cross has now upstaged the Daytona 200 as the most popular event during the Motorcycle Races at the Speedway.

The event date has changed so the finals are started in time to be aired on primetime television.

Tickets are very reasonably priced to sit in the grandstands in front of the course where the viewing is excellent.

The new seating that was installed as part of the Daytona Rising renovation offers much larger and more comfortable seating than even.

If you are a motorcycle enthusiast or a lover of extreme sports, this even is your Super Bowl.

It is the biggest Super Cross event of the season and other than the X-Games the biggest event on the extreme sports calendar.

Pack you own snack and drinks in order to save a few dollars and opt for seats closer to the action.

So if you are planning to visit central Florida for Bike Week, make sure to get your tickets for the Daytona Super Cross at the World center of Racing.
