Every February in Daytona the ARCA Racing Series season starts off with the Lucas Oil 200.
This annual race is held at newly renovated Daytona International Speedway.

Many young ARCA stars use the experience gained in the series to step up into NASCAR.
Some however, stay in the ARCA Series and make it a career.

Winning driver speeds can top 130mph during the 80 lap race.
The day of the Lucas Oil Race is also the Sprint Unlimited Sprint Cup event.
One ticket buys you entrance into both races.
Since many fans only go to the Sprint Cup race, if you do attend the ARCA kickoff race, you can sit just about anywhere you want.
The ARCA race is a good time to enjoy the pricier seats at the track for little money.
Many of tomorrow’s NASCAR stars will be racing in next year’s Lucas Oil 200.
The double header is a chance to see tomorrow’s stars putting the pedal to the metal on some of the most prestigious tracks in the world.
Make sure to pack a cooler because at Daytona you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks.
There is a bit of a gap between races so take a camera with you as well, the track serves as a great backdrop for memorable photos.
