This much anticipated event is the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi River and is listed in the top fifty events assessed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Started as a way to make money and support charities by the Silver Spurs Riding Club in the early 1940’s, this event stresses a strong love of animals, land and the outdoors.
The rodeo still supports charities and preserves a multi-generational American tradition.

This year brings something new; the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo (RNCFR) is coming to town for a four-day competition with more than $1 million in prizes.
The contest will be hosted in Central Florida for at least the next 10 years.
The RNCFR will feature the top 24 contestants, two from each of the 12 PRCA circuits, who compete in two go-rounds.
The top eight cumulative times or scores advance to the semifinals.
The top four from the semifinals advance to the finals, and the national champions are crowned sudden-death style based on the top scores and times in the finals.
Events at the Silver Spurs Rodeo include all the classics: bull riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, a calf scramble and clowns.
Big name rodeo champions enjoy this venue.
Rodeo Queens are on hand, as well.
Both a Miss Silver Spurs and a Little Miss Silver Spurs are crowned and spend time promoting the rodeo at events, parades and Central Florida community functions.
A special attraction of any rodeo held at Silver Spurs is the Quadrille.
This incredible show can only be described as “a square dance on horseback”.
In this precise “dance”, eight colorfully dressed couples, on horseback, move to music in a weaving pattern.
The continual movement of intricate steps is pure heart pounding magic.
The Quadrille has been performed at every Silver Spurs Rodeo since 1941 and many parades, including Miami’s Orange Bowl Parade.
In 1999, a new state-of-the-art indoor arena was built with more than 8,000 seats and a dozen luxury skyboxes.
This arena is host to concerts and many sporting events, but the rodeos are the main draw.
Check your calendars because the exciting Silver Spurs Rodeo is coming soon.
Don’t miss the action, speed and fun of this historical event.
