Biergarten a German Counter Service Restaurant

If you are in the mood for beer and sausage as you stroll through Epcot's World Showcase at Walt Disney World, then Biergarten is the place for you!

Tucked away in the Germany Pavilion, Biergarten can be a bit tricky to find, but simply keep your eyes open for the check-in desk in the back of the pavilion.

You will then head through Sommerfest, the German counter-service restaurant, and into Biergarten where the restaurant will open up to reveal a "moonlit" Bavarian Village that has been set up for a party!

Lit by burning lampposts, the atmosphere is one of quaint, old-world charm.

Oompah Band

At the center of the restaurant is a stage where an oompah band will serenade you as you eat.

There is also a small dance floor, so, if the mood strikes, feel free to take a spin!

Biergarten is set-up as an all-you-can-eat buffet, complete with many German favorites including sausages, sauerkraut, schnitzel, and Disney's divine pretzel rolls.

There are plenty of salads, roast meats, and fresh fruit for kids or any picky eaters in your party.

It may be difficult, but it is worth saving room for dessert: all-you-can-eat Bavarian cheesecake, warm apple strudel, and delicious Florentine cookies.

Beer Menu

The real draw at Biergarten is, appropriately enough, the beer menu.

Shaped like a traditional, German stein, the menu offers an impressive array of German imported beers that can be ordered by the ½ litre or full litre!

Warning: Since the restaurant is supposed resemble a Bavarian festival, you will be seated at tables of eight.

If there are less than eight people in your party, you can expect to be seated with strangers, so if you are not comfortable with communal seating, avoid this one.

If, however, you do not mind the company, you will find it easy to get caught up in the party atmosphere of Biergarten, making it a very fun place to eat lunch or dinner.
