Top 10 Food and Wine Treats

The Food and Wine Festival is a very popular event each Fall at Epcot.

Year after year, Disney chefs amaze us with their delectable treats.

Not only is the event a great way for individuals to try all Epcot has to offer, but it is a wonderful time for family and friends to come together to enjoy each other's company.

Here is a look at some of the best options from many different food kiosks throughout Epcot and the World Showcase.

Snacks and Meals

From Australia, my absolute favorite item on the Epcot Food and Wine menu is the grilled lamb chop with mint pesto, accompanied by potato crunches.

The next item that is both flaky and delicious, and not too filling is the vegan loaded Greek nachos from Greece.

They consist of crispy pita chips, topped with meatless sausage and vegan tzatziki sauce.

It is a light snack that will leave you with plenty of room for your next menu item.

One of my favorite quick service restaurants in the World Showcase is Morocco, and their Food and Wine menu does not disappoint.

Try the Kefta Pocket, which consists of seasoned ground beef inside a small pita pocket.

Moving on, Italy has a really special dish that gives you a taste of their classic Chicken Parmigiana dish, accompanied by baked ziti, tomato sauce, and both mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

It is difficult not to pass this up!

Another one of my favorites, that I probably would not have tried if it was not for the Food and Wine Festival last year is the grilled beef skewer with chimichurri and boniato puree from Patagonia.

It is truly delicious! Finally, from Craft Beer Marketplace, I really enjoy the pimento cheese dip with pretzel crisps.

It is light yet satisfying.

If you are going to try one new drink, let it be the La Passion Martini Slush from France. Cold and refreshing, and just sweet enough, it consists of Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, cranberry juice, and passion fruit juice.

Also promising is the Frozen Szarlotka Apple Pie with Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka, found in Poland. Just in time for fall!

Swing back around to Australia for dessert, where you can get Lamington, a moist yellow cake covered in chocolate and topped with shredded coconut.

If you still have room, stop by Belgium for a Belgian waffle with warm chocolate ganache and whipped cream.

Honorable Mention: beer braised beef with smoked gouda mashed potatoes from Belgium.
