The fall concert series at Universal Studios in Orlando hosts a month long concert series in November.
This concert series is part of the 25th year celebration of the Universal Studios theme park.
On select nights park guests will be able to enjoy their favorite rides and attractions all while also being able to enjoy live performances from some of the biggest names in music.
This year the concert series is taking place from November 14th through November 28th.
Music artists that will take the stage include top Billboard ranking and Grammy Award winning performers.
Come list to your favorite hits from Jason Derulo (Nov. 14 – 7pm), Colbie Caillat (Nov. 21 – 7pm), Flo Rida (Nov. 22 – 8pm), Carly Rae Jepsen (Nov. 27 – 8pm) and Daughtry (Nov. 28 – 8pm) this season.
The concerts will all take place at the Universal Music Plaza just outside of the entrance to Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
There is no assigned seating or standing area for each performance so you plan will make all the difference in whether you are standing front and center or relaxing in the outskirts.
If you want to have a front row view of the show then you should plan to arrive early to enjoy rides before staking your space along the front stage barrier.
If you don’t mind taking a back seat you can grab a spot on the outer lawn and kick bag with a few beverages and snacks as you wait for the show to begin.
Depending on the weather and the performer you may still need to stand by the time the concert begins.
Either way, once you arrive at the Universal Music Plaza you should not stray far from your area or you will risk losing your place.
With about an hour left until show time you will find that the plaza begins to fill to capacity.
In order to get your choice of location you should plan to arrive at least three hours before the concert begins.
Note that even if there is a chance of rain (which is less likely in November) you will find that fans will not give up a front row spot in the event of a downpour.
Rest assured that the sound systems at Universal Studios are top notch.
NO matter where you end up in the plaza you will be able to hear any and everything just as if you were standing front and center, possibly with a little less bass from the speakers.
Sometimes it can be a bit cool in Florida.
While it is usually in the low 70’s temperatures can sometimes drop into the 50’s.
You should plan to bring a sweater or light jacket in the case that a concert is scheduled during a cooler evening.
You can pick up a light blanket or sweaters at many nearby souvenir shops, malls or shopping centers.
If you play your cards right you will still have time to enjoy one more ride or attraction nearby before you exit the park for the evening.
Entrance to each concert is free with valid park admission.
